JobifyCoach ("we," "our," or "us") is a professional career coaching and resume optimization service. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, disclose, and safeguard your personal information when you visit our website (jobifycoach.com), purchase or use our services — including ATS-Optimized Resume Audit, LinkedIn SEO & Branding, Done-For-You Job Sourcing, 1:1 Private Career Coaching, Advanced Mock Interviews, and Salary Negotiation Strategy — or otherwise interact with us.

Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide Directly
We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide when purchasing or using our services:
- Identity & Contact Information: Your full name, email address, and any other contact details you provide during checkout, our intake form, or via email.
- Career & Service Data: Your resume (PDF or DOCX), up to 3 job descriptions, LinkedIn profile URL, career goals, target roles, employment history, and any other background information you submit through our Career Inventory Form or intake process.
- Communication Data: Messages you send us through our contact form, via email, or through scheduled sessions (notes, follow-up records).
- Payment Information: All payment data is collected and processed exclusively by our payment provider, Lemon Squeezy (our Merchant of Record). We do not receive, store, or have access to your full card details. We may receive your billing email address, order ID, and purchase history to manage your service subscription and order records.
- Coaching Session Data: Notes, feedback, interview scorecards, mock interview records, and debrief summaries produced during 1:1 coaching or mock interview sessions (stored in your Google Drive folder or Notion workspace, with your agreement).
2.2 Automatically Collected Information
When you visit our website, certain technical information may be collected automatically:
- IP address and approximate location (country/city level)
- Device type, operating system, and browser type/version
- Pages visited, time spent, and navigation path
- Referring website or source (if applicable)
- Cookies and session identifiers (see our Cookie Policy for details)
We do not use third-party analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics). Basic server-level logs may be collected by our hosting infrastructure for security and uptime purposes.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information solely to provide and improve our career services:
Deliver Services
Resume optimization, LinkedIn strategy, job applications, coaching sessions, mock interviews, and all other services included in your plan.
Process Payments & Orders
Verify purchases and manage order records through Lemon Squeezy.
Client Workspace Management
Maintain your dedicated Google Drive folder and Notion workspace used to track your applications, coaching sessions, and deliverables.
Communicate With You
Send onboarding instructions, service updates, completion emails, interview notifications, and respond to your enquiries.
Improve Our Services
Analyse service quality, refine our SOPs, and improve coaching and resume optimization processes over time.
Security & Legal Compliance
Detect and prevent fraud, protect our systems, and comply with applicable laws and regulations.
Legal basis (GDPR): We process your personal data based on: (a) contractual necessity — when we need your data to perform the service you purchased; (b) consent — where you have explicitly agreed (e.g. sharing session recordings); (c) legitimate interests — to operate, improve, and secure our business; and (d) legal obligation — when required by applicable law.
How We Share Your Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share information only in the following limited circumstances:
- Lemon Squeezy (Payment Processing): When you make a purchase, your payment information is collected and processed by Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record. Lemon Squeezy handles payment data in accordance with their own Privacy Policy and applicable law. As Merchant of Record, Lemon Squeezy is also responsible for handling tax and compliance on transactions.
- Notion (Client Workspace): We maintain a dedicated Notion workspace for each client to track application records, coaching session notes, match scores, and service status. Notion processes data in accordance with their Privacy Policy. You will be given access to your own workspace. Data stored in Notion is limited to career and service-tracking records only.
- Internal Team Members: Authorized team members (e.g. Resume Technicians, Career Coaches, Data Admins) access your career data strictly to deliver the services you have purchased. All team members are bound by confidentiality obligations.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information when required by law, court order, or government request, or to protect our legal rights.
- With Your Explicit Consent: For any other purpose not listed above, we will obtain your explicit prior consent.
Data Storage & Security
Your career data (resumes, job descriptions, reports) is stored in a structured Google Drive folder system, accessible only to you and authorized JobifyCoach team members. Coaching session records and application tracking data are maintained in a dedicated Notion workspace shared with you.
We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures including: limited access controls, two-factor authentication (2FA) on shared accounts, and secure credential management. However, no electronic storage or internet transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
LinkedIn credentials (Done-For-You service only): If you opt in to our Done-For-You LinkedIn editing service, you may share your LinkedIn credentials with us temporarily. We handle these under strict security protocols: credentials are never stored permanently, deleted after the service concludes, and you are instructed to change your password upon completion. Sharing credentials is entirely at your discretion.
Data Retention
We retain your data only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy:
- Active service data: Retained for the duration of your service engagement and for a reasonable period afterward to support follow-up, revisions, or dispute resolution.
- Payment & tax records: Retained for the period required by applicable accounting and tax law (typically up to 7 years, depending on jurisdiction).
- Inactive client records: Archived after a defined inactivity period (typically 12 months after service completion), then deleted or anonymized.
- Communication records: Retained for up to 2 years for support and audit purposes, unless you request deletion earlier.
Cookies & Tracking
